The Class of 2025 at Wade Hampton High School celebrated their graduation at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC, and OHANA Studios was honored to capture every meaningful moment. From the iconic handshake-and-diploma shots to formal portraits, we focused on creating timeless images that parents and students alike will treasure for years.
Instead of using the standard multicolored background, we photographed each senior in front of a neutral screen, allowing us to extract them and offer customizable backgrounds—bringing a more mature, personalized touch to each portrait.
Our team ran two main photo stations: one capturing the stage moment with a Nikon Z8, 70-200 lens, and an AD600 with a long throw reflector; the other taking individual diploma portraits using a Nikon Z8 with a 24-70 lens and a MagMod Sphere XL. Additional candid coverage came from two more photographers, who roamed the floor capturing genuine moments and smiles—using gear that brought both reach and a nostalgic feel to their shots.
One fun highlight? A graduate finger-gunning the principal mid-walk—just one of many great personality-packed moments we caught throughout the day.
For many of these seniors, we’ve documented their journey from sports to yearbook, so this event felt extra special. Our goal was to treat each senior’s photo like it was our own child’s—striving to capture real joy and emotion.
